How the tablet works
This tablet is a combination of two medicines which works together effectively in treatment. Amlodipine relaxes or lowers the blood pressure by blocking the calcium channel, and Atenolol specifically slows down the heart rate as it is a beta blocker which together makes it more efficient for the heart to pump the blood effectively throughout the entire body.

Precautions/Warnings
It causes dizziness, therefore, get up slowly from a sitting or lying position, also, do not drive or do activities which require mental focus unless advised fit by your doctor. Do not stop the medication suddenly without prior consultation with your doctor.
Side effects and how to manage them
Headache, Nausea, Slow heart rate, Edema, Sleepiness, Ankle Swelling, Tiredness, Flushing, Constipation, Coldness.
